Cancer is a group of many related diseases that begin in cells, the
body's basic unit of life. To understand Hodgkin's disease, it is
helpful to know about normal cells and what happens when they become
cancerous. The body is made up of many types of cells. Normally, cells
grow and divide to produce more cells only when the body needs them.
This orderly process helps keep the body healthy.
Sometimes cells
keep dividing when new cells are not needed, creating a mass of extra
tissue. This mass is called a growth or tumor. Tumors can be either
benign (not cancerous) or malignant (cancerous).
This site is for information on the various Chemo treatments and Stem Cell Therapies since 1992. This journey became bitter sweet in 2014, with the passing of my beautiful and dear wife. Sherry, had fought Non - Hodgkins Lymphoma(NHL) since 1990, in and out of remissions time and time again. From T-Cell therapies(1990's) to Dual Cord Blood Transplant(2014), she was in Clinical Trials over the years. This site is for informational purpose only and is not to promote the use of certain therapies.
